Availability of Bolt in Arizona

A month ago I told a family friend who is a Chevrolet dealer that I wanted to by a Bolt. He told me I would be first on the list. I contacted his inventory manager today to see if they have gotten their allocation. She informed me they have not and they are expecting a May, June delivery. I gave our second car to my son and was hoping to hang in there until January. Any one else in Arizona with similar news?

Initial allocations are for CA and OR. Never any official announcement from GM on this, or any other roll out plans for that matter.

Could be ZEV states first, a West to East progression, or something else entirely. CA/OR dealers were not notified ahead of time that they would get the first units or when it would be. They were just notified one day that they had XX cars allocated and they needed to configure them online by a certain date.

Eastern most charging in Indio to charging on western edge of Phoenix is 221 miles. There a couple of RV parks with NEMA 14-50 outlets along the route in you have an EVSE with a plug you can bring with. Ready for an adventure???

Do it! You can be the first one here to take the Bolt on a road trip and get your Bolt before next year.

randemar, I'm curious which dealer you talked to, or at least area, if you don't want to post the details. I also was thinking I would only have to hold out to about January with my old car, so this thread has my attention.

If all else fails, share the vehicle with your son until the Bolt comes? Takes a bit of schedule juggling but it should work out.

I'm in PA, my dealership told me today that their Chevy rep said PA won't be getting allocations until 2nd quarter 2017. I'm really hoping it will be sooner than that...

Reply from a Phoenix dealer: "I am told by my Inventory Specialist that the Bolts may be coming to AZ in the early to mid coming year, unfortunately there is no for certain time."

So that sounds a lot like evDude's 2nd quarter in PA.

Talked a dealer in Tempe. Has 3 people on deposit list. I can be #4 and be able to place order in May for June/July delivery. Was told 2-4 allotments per month. $500 to hold spot. GM is missing the boat on this.
