Stream or Spray

The rear washer on the bolt....is it supposed to spray or is it a stream?

Mine (2017) has always been a single stream, never thought to ask if anyone's was different. The mechanism looks fine, has no damage and does not appear to be missing parts.

That's the way mine is too. seems to waste a lot of washer fluid that way.
