    Thanks, Gary!

This is what I've been thinking. Like you, I want more lower end presence in the dash, so I was thinking of putting in a high end tweeter (SEAS Prestige 27TFFNC/G) which provides a nice response down to 1 kHz. I would cut this at 2 kHz with a HP crossover (sens. 91 dB)

In the front door, I would put in Dayton Audio RS150-4 with a 2 kHz LP crossover, and a 100 Hz HP crossover. The sensitivity here is 91.8, so not a big spread from the tweeter, so I'll get a little boost in the mid band, but I think it will be fine (I could put in maybe a resistor if it seems necessary - though I'm not sure the best wattage/resistance level would be. Thoughts?)

Now, I like to have a little more of the surround effect, so I'm going to put in a pair of Coaxials in the rear doors (Kicker DS series), again with a 100 Hz HP crossover.

In the tire well, I'm going to put in a 10 inch sub, which I will set at the amp block above 100 Hz. I intend to run from the front door speaker so that I can lower the rear speakers via fader without dropping the bass if the kids are in the back seat. I will run the speaker line through an AudioControl LC2i to reconstruct some of the bass that's rolled off of the head unit. I've attached a schematic here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/sNdTN97CEkJnwo3y5

I would definitely appreciate your thoughts on this!

    Best,

    Neil

Hey there - I made a post to the thread, but it hasn't seemed to have popped up, so I was hoping to run a question by you.

Are the tweeters in the dash of the Bolt wired via the same circuit as the Front door mid-subs, or are they running directly off the heat unit?

    Thanks!

Thanks for your recent post about various tires you've tried. When I searched for the Continetnals on tirerack.com, I found a lot of negative comments about weak sidewalls. I have a lot of potholes where I live and this concerned me. Here's a typical one:

But the WORST part about them is the weak sidewall. I have been driving for 33 years and have never ever blown out a tire. You can't hit a pothole with these tires at even the slowest speeds (and NE Ohio is all pot holes). 3 (yes 3) of these have instantly deflated after hitting a pot hole and a 4th one was destroyed by the dealer attempting to mount. All had holes or breaks right through the sidewall. Continental of course won't do anything about it.

Have you had any negative experiences like these?
