As the title says, has anyone had the Continental PureContact LS on their Bolt for over a year, and how would they rate the tire now?

From what I understand reading other reviews, the tire has a greater impact on range when new (under 1000 mi), but this impact goes down as the tire is broken in. Anyone able to verify this for the Bolt? I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere

I installed mine in 11/2019 at 50k miles. So I have run with them for a year.

This year, thanks to COVID, only put 1/3 (10k) the miles I normally do (30k). I have never felt a loss of efficiency\range with these tires. The grip remains pretty good on snow and ice, far better than the stock Michelins.

Are there better choices? I don't know. In comparison to stock tires, I would give it +2 on a scale of 10. The only time I spin them is on gravel or fast acceleration on ice.

My new-used Bolt came with a new set of Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring A/S tires. Not terrible overall, but the couple times I’ve driven in rain, or a curvy road, they’ve been squirrelly

The one thing I can tell for sure from the outset is that despite being rated as being within ~1 rotation per mile of the stock Michelins, they are off by significantly more than that (a little over 1%).

Thanks for the great video! I only just got my Bolt this last November, and your YouTube videos really inspired me into making the purchase. So far I absolutely love the car. I moved up to the Bolt from a 2004 Honda Accord

The Bolt came with a brand new set of Tiger Paw Touring tires on it. The traction on those were awful though, so I replaced them with the Continentals about 2 weeks ago. Since then, temperatures have been in the 40-50° F range, and I've been consistently getting ~ 3.3 mi/kwh on the new tires (mixed highway/city usage). Pretty good I think, considering the temperature, and the break-in period for new tires (like you mentioned in your video above).

Thanks! I'll definitely keep you updated. I'm not sure how many miles I should put on before I try the efficiency test again. A few hundred miles and full inflation should be good enough.
