Other incentives are available in many states, and there are some regional incentives too. It isn't clear what state or locality you live in. These range from a few hundred bucks to $5000 or even more. For example, my local utility company (PG&E) offers an $800 incentive. And the state of California offers a $2500 rebate, paid for by cap-and-trade money from the oil companies. Some states have no sales tax on the purchase of an electric car.

Traded in my 2014 Volt for my 2019 Bolt. I loved my Volt, but as of Jan 1st I loose my singe driver benefit in the carpool lanes. With that said and the Federal Tax Credit, Costco Purchase incentives I decided the time to buy was now.
Congrats on your new Bolt and beating the federal 2018 tax incentive deadline. Welcome to the forum.
