We purchased our 2019 Bolt in October and already have two big mechanical issues. For several months it has made a weird noise coming from somewhere in the back of the car by the drivers side axle area and the steering wheel just starting making a clicking noise. We took it into the dealer of which it is still under warranty of course and they said we need a new differential and steering column. Seems pretty extreme for a new car of which we take really good care of it, garaged, etc. Has anyone else had issues to this effect? Also, it is still in the shop a week later now and they still haven't been able to locate parts and I'm in San Diego.

the Bolt wouldn't have a differential in the rear. sometimes the steering column clicking is from a dislodged floor board mat, yours sounds more serious. I had a noise in my car's rear from new. had the rear beam twist axle replaced as one of the non-serviceable bushings was making the noise.
