I will be giving my 2020 Bolt Premier (fully loaded) away soon, and replacing it with a 2022 Bolt.
The one thing that do not like about the 2022 Bolt 2LT, is that the upholstery is solid black leather. I much preferred the light 2 toned leather in the 2020 Premier.
So, I was thinking of purchasing a 2022 Bolt 1LT ( when available ) in ice blue metallic, if possible; and then having aftermarket 2 toned ( blue and black ) leather upholstery installed. I would also want the $945 Comfort and Convenience Package, as I want both heated seats and a heated steering wheel..
I understand that the radio in the base model is not as nice as in the audio upgrade package, which is only available on the 2LT model.
Has anyone upgraded their base radio ? Any suggestions for speaker upgrades.?
I realize that purchasing the base model 1LT, and then installing leather and speaker upgrades would mean that I would be paying almost as much as if I had just purchased a 2LT Bolt - but I just don't like the all black leather interior of the 2LT.
I have been looking at the inventories of some dealers who have new 2022 Bolts on their lots. but who cannot sell them, until they get replacement batteries. And then we shall see if Chevrolet re-starts Bolt production in a few hours, as promised. Thanks to all for your suggestions.
