I’m confused. The one you linked to says it fits the EV but not the EUV. Did they give you the wrong one?

If anyone wants one of those that fits 2017-21 (and probably ‘22) Bolt EV, pm me, because you can have it for the cost of shipping plus $10 handling. I have something that works much better for my use case.

Here’s what works for me:

Fits perfectly from side to side. Takes about 5 seconds to grab it out of the passenger seat back pouch, open it, and place it in the window. Same to put it away again.

It’s perfect for out and about. If a car is going to be stored out in the sun, what Tradosaurus has is better because the umbrella leaves about a foot of unprotected dash.

I have a feeling that these umbrella shades are probably all made by the same Chinese company and are sold under various brand names. The one that fits the Bolt is 52 by 31 inches, like in the photo.

As can be seen below, it is not tall enough to cover the bottom section of the dashboard by about 6”.

What I like is that it is easy to open the umbrella while sitting in the driver’s seat, while the roll-up shades are a struggle to unfurl and shove it into the window area while it is hitting you in the face.

Sorry but I can’t help you with a link, because the umbrella has no markings, and the box it comes in was thrown away. I bought it on eBay after doing a “umbrella windshield shade.” The same Amazon search will also bring them up.

I have a feeling that any type of reflective shade on the inside of the glass would do that to your mount, not just an umbrella shade.

Yup. The one I bought goes on the outside of the window. I glued a couple of neodymium magnets to the top edge corners. If you scavenge old 540MB hard drives, you can get some nice neodymium magnets, and a whole lot of aluminum.
