For what it’s worth, in case some might be looking for information on timing from order to delivery, I placed my order on August 5th. It took about weeks for GM to pick up the order and another few weeks for GM to officially accept the order. The status given by the virtual chat assistant has been “Accepted by GM and moving toward the production process” for weeks now.

As of today, my sales agent checked the order status and it has a build date scheduled for September 26th. She estimates that arrival should be somewhere around a month after the build date. So… it looks like production is moving well and they should be on target for timelines of 2-3 months from order to delivery, depending somewhat on dealer allocation and how fast they can get orders picked up. I’ll provide updates as things play out. It can be frustrating when you place an order and go for weeks without any updates or information... it’s especially frustrating when a coworker of mine ordered a car back in June and received frequent email updates as his car moved through all the various stages of order acceptance, scheduling, build steps, QC checks, transit, etc… As best as I can tell, it seems to be a theme that GM isn’t good at communicating any of these things.

Welcome to the forum.

I was following a similar timeline when I ordered my Bolt in July of 2017. You made me just look when mine was built as it was in September. It's my Bolt's birthday today. Turned 5 years old today on 9/17.

I took delivery at the end of October. Waiting is the worst part of ordering the Bolt.

I'll follow and update myself sadly it will be a month next week since I put my deposit. The sales guy at delaershio made a mistake and never charged my card until yesterday when I got there to check why. Sales guy said order was put 3 weeks ago so I've been in line since then let's see if the next week's i get a update. Order a 2023 euv premier redline w S/S no S/C. Let's hope I got in line 3 weeks ago instead of yesterday.

GM still has not taken my order. Ordered on Aug 30
It’s hard to say what’s going on. The delay in taking your payment could be in play there. It’s so hard to say since it basically seems like a black box. Order goes in and then nothing until it comes out. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also the bolt might get at most 3750 but more likely will get 0.
I got the call today, my EUV has arrived at the dealership… now I’m working out financing. Got to shop for the best rate I can find. FYI… the dealership is McCluskey Chevrolet in Cincinnati. It might be worthwhile to cancel your order at the dealer you’ve been working with. And talk to Cheri at McCluskey. If you check out their website, it says they will provide free one-way airfare if you want to go get it and drive it back home. They seem to get a lot of allocation and stock. I believe they’re one of the largest volume dealers in the Midwest. After I checked the chat bot and got the last update, I looked on the dealer website to see if I could see it show up in transit. One day, they had zero ’23 EUVs available. The next day they had 10 and mine was one of them. Once we get financing worked out and sign the deal (all electronically) they’re going to deliver my car to my house and drive my trade back to the dealership (no charge as I live within their free delivery range). So far, I’ve been really impressed with their service. If you do reach out to Cheri (pronounced Che-REE), tell her that Tobey referred you.

Financing and purchase Agreement is complete. The dealer will deliver the car to my house (93 miles away) on Friday and drive my trade in back. For the first time ever, I’ve negotiated a trade and a car purchase without ever setting foot on the lot. Crazy. That’s a long way from the sales rep taking your keys from you to evaluate your vehicle and not wanting to give them back to you until you’d answered the question of “what would it take for you to drive home in this vehicle today?” 😆
