It appears that Tesla is not immune to the market downdraft:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-09/tesla-headed-for-worst-tumble-in-two-years-on-slow-going-model-3

Latest news is that Tesla still has major production issues at the Gigafactory battery plant, and critical manufacturing equipment is sitting in Germany awaiting shipment and installation in Nevada.

Model 3 deliveries being pushed back, again, and the worry among investors is that depositors may become inpatient and cancel orders. Without robust Model 3 sales Tesla will continue to burn through billions in cash, and may need to go back to the market for more borrowing sooner than anticipated.

Like Starman, we all need to keep strapped in in case this launch doesn’t go as planned.

I think Einstein’s theory of relativity has something to do with this.

In Musk’s universe time moves much more slowly than it does here on Earth.

Of course! That's it! He is running so fast, his world has slowed down. When we are all 100, he will only be 47.

Well, it also looks like the gigafactory is a factory that may never be completed

put them both together and .... Good uck getting your model 3 anytime soon! :)

The funny thing is the gigafactory only has 1/5 panasonic lines running right now and not fully automated.....so I cannot figure out why they weight it as if its fully functional with all lines running. What a white elephant.

In his world everything is right on schedule.
Of course! We just need to apply a conversion factor so that we accurately understand him. I think a simple rule of thumb that works is, when he says months, convert it to years. Basically, 1 month = 1 year.
