A few months after main drive battery fixed, suddenly one morning after charging all night, the green light on top of the dashboard showed constant green (full), yet the gage for expected milage showed only 62 miles mean expected. Since the new battery, I have been seeing expected miles of 240-250 average. I drove 44 miles to the our dealer. His men concluded there is software problems, and said GM knows of the problem and is working on a solution.
The dealer is providing a rental car. After 2 weeks, no solution found. Any once else experience this?

What year is yours? My 2017 has been perfect since the battery was replaced in March. Probably driven 4000+ miles since and charged a bunch of times.

If it was code P0DBB then you’re in for a long one. I’m going on 5 weeks waiting for gm engineers to come up with a solution. Searching around the forum, it’s usually around the 6 week mark someone gets fed up and post about how long they’ve been waiting and wanting to switch car brands.

i think I’ve seen two people post about getting their bolt back with this issue after waiting 3/4 months respectively. Their batteries were just changed again. I’m guessing GM is trying to avoid another battery recall and floating out “software issues” which they’ve seen code P0DBB at least over a year ago and still can’t tell dealerships how to fix it (without having to replace the battery again)

For now the dealership put me in a limited edition cherry red Chevy Blazer. With gas pushing $6 a gallon again. I’d like my bolt back please.
