Why are you going with these instead of the 12v ones?

the 12vs only got to 80 degrees when it was 50 outside..not hot enough.

These get much hotter plus I can just plug them into already setup power invertor..
350 degrees easily melt these so it will fall off..

As a fellow MN resident, I would miss the satisfaction of kicking a real good clump and leaving it in the target parking lot : )

Agree but I get it why OP is trying to do this. I find there is not much clearance between the wheel and the wheel well, I had more difficulties kicking the ice buildup out compared to previous cars I owned.

That and the broken toe you’ll get with the kick method when it’s subzero out : )
