Thank you for all the great info on the Bolt. Has been very useful in my present situation.

My current ride, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, is dying a slow and expensive death. Time for a new ride.
I've been very interested in EVs for many years now. (Actually drove one of the original EV1 back in the day. Got me hooked!)
Doing some research, the Bolt seems to be a solid choice. Good range, performance and value.

But...new or used is the question. Have seen some low mileage Bolts for around $24k. Seems like a reasonable deal.
Any things to look out for in a used model?
Any good case to be made for buying new? I do hate a monthly payment.

Also, how do I know if a model has the DCFC? Seems that most of the used models I've been checking out do not have the DCFC.
Assuming it's used, at a dealer, might not have the original build info. What am I looking for?

Thanks in advance for any info. I appreciate all you folks have been to support the EV / Bolt community.

$24K? You might be able to get a new 2019 Bolt LT close to that price considering the big discounts right now over $11K below MSRP, plus the $3750 Fed tax credit still available till the end of this month, plus possibly a state rebate too.

Open the charger door and look for an orange "dust cover" below the level 2 connections. Flip it down to make sure it actually uncovers more connections. Maybe somebody can post a picture.
Edit: Look at this video starting around time 3:00. You'll see him flip the orange cover down. This is to accept the DCFC connector.

Thanks for the info on the DCFC. "The more you know..."

NightHawk --- I haven't seen any deals that good yet. I see Chevy is giving $2000 Customer Cash and other rebate. Gets price down near $33k. There's no local/state incentives where I am. Wondering if price will drop even more after Fed incentive goes down or towards end of year. Tough one.

Minor problem is that no local dealers stock Bolt. Have to drive hour or two to see one in person.
Might have to hit the online game as redpoint5 suggests.

I appreciate the help!! (y)
