Long shot, but was wondering if anyone knew where I source some parts around Vancouver BC?
I'm looking for a cargo area privacy shield that just hides whats in the cargo area (the flexible mesh), I lost mine a while back and was looking to replace it. Seems like I could purchase it for some insane amount from gmparts and have it shipped to me for an even more insane amount of money... but I'm looking to save a few bucks if someone has spare parts for sale or the car is going for a write off.

Additionally, looking for a that false floor upgrade: 2017-2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV Cargo Area Liner 42564933 | GMPartsDirect.com I would have bought this already if not for the pandemic, restricting me from basically picking it up in US. Shipping to Canada probably costs more than the item itself.

Lol shipping to Canada from US site: 600 USD.
shipping to blaine from US site: 102.83 out of an item that costs 133 dollars.
shipping to my area from the Canadian site: $75 out of a $175 item.

These shipping costs are insane. There has got to be a better way to buy this stuff.

You would have to get friendly with your favourite auto-wrecker to have them let you know when a wrecked Bolt comes in. Then it would be a matter of them being willing to sell just those pieces. I've experienced that before with parts from wrecked cars. No we're not going to sell just that piece. You gotta take the whole assembly. eg.

It would be a large yet light thing to ship so it makes sense that it would be expensive. You pay for size or you pay for weight..or both.
Until the border opens up, yes it's expensive to ship. You can't even go to Blaine to pick it up. Sucks. I was looking for a used tv. I would have gone into the states to pick one up but I couldn't. It would have cost me as much as the tv cost to ship it.

I wonder if you could talk to a tow truck company or an ICBC claims adjuster to find out where wrecked Bolts go to die around here? Or just start calling up the auto wreckers, there can't be that many of them.

Here's a tip for the "Bolt Loincloth", as some have called it: I bought the OEM rubber mat to protect the rear cargo area (I actually bought two, one for the lower compartment and one to put on top of the false floor). When I remove the loincloth, I lift up the back of the rubber mat on top of the false floor and slip the loincloth underneath. It's a great place to store it without worrying about it getting damaged.
