I was just curious if anyone had recommendations on areas, parts, things to look over before the bumper to bumper warranty expires.

I am just about to hit 36,000 miles, I haven't had any consistent issues and I don't hear noises or anything that would make think I have any. So this is more of a precaution type of check, to see if there is anything that could be an issue without being readily apparent.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Make sure it isn't burning any oil. Also make sure the headlight fluid levels are good. :p

I can't think of much other than the 12v battery heath, which would require putting a load tester on it.

On second thought, you better sell the thing now that the warranty is about to expire; to me, for real cheap.

Have them check the Hybrid Power Control Module is in good health. On my car it went haywire and started reporting inaccurate range. The part is on back order so they've had my car for 9 days and there's currently no date communicated for getting it back. If I were out of warranty I'd be extra pissed.

I better make sure to get them to check my blinker fluid levels as well ;)

The HPCM is not out of warranty @ 36K miles. I would check the washer fluid level.
Other than that, there is nothing to worry about. It's a sound car and has been for me
for the last 2.5 years with 33K miles on it.
