@gadyamit

Does Chevrolet have dealers in country? Or are these cars imported used from the US?

Or are they Opel Ampera-e (the EU version of the Bolt)?

In the US, we have an EV Concierge hotline we can use to get information specific to Bolts, 1-833-382-4389. Not sure if you can reach them from outside the US on this line?

As we all know, the old packs are being returned and refurbished with new cell modules. As many parts as possible are being reused, I would assume. So I'm wondering if more parts can be reused once the 2020-2022 packs start getting refurbished.

Is there anything in the pack that is unique to the longer range pack, in addition to the cell modules themselves? Are there parts which would have to be replaced on the older packs, but not on the newer ones? Could this speed up the refurbishment process, once GM completes the 2017-2019s and moves on to newer Bolts?
Just dropped mine off for the replacement a few minutes ago. I spent some time with the Service Manager and a knowledgable sales guy (I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but it is true in this case). They assured me the only difference in the packs is the hose connectors in early 2017 models, and the cells. The cells are the same dimensions, just a different chemical composition, so totally interchangeable in the shell.

What will speed up the process are several things. First, available capacity (ie avoid making new models), improve delivery (trucking is a real mess right now), technician competency (improves with each one they perform). As the number of used packs returned increases, the backlog of cells can be assembled and shipped, the process seems to still be gathering steam.

Latest list of vins is still from the 29th. Will update when a new list comes out.
Good news for those waiting on replacement packs for cars sitting on dealer lots!

Maybe they are trying to clear out unsold inventory for the 23 model year sales cycle?

My 22 popped to open on Sept 12th. Called dealer and was told they don't order them. They are automatically sent by GM.
Unless they have changed things, I don't think that is correct. When my 2018 became eligible, I called my dealer and they immediately placed an order.

If your dealer is not aware of, or not equipped to do the replacement, they may be giving you a line of BS. Try calling the Concierge line, they seem to be able to straighten dealers out when confusion sets in. They will also direct you to a qualified dealer if your preferred dealer is not certified for the replacement.
