Ok, I broke down and bought WeatherTech seat protector for the back seat since my boxers were making a dirty mess of them (and I was worried about their claws scratching or poking the "leather".) I put "leather" in quotes because that material is NOT cowhide, it's some synthetic I'm sure.

I know the GM-suggested cleaning brand (Adam's) but wanted to ask fellow owners what they feel the best cleaning solution? Not looking for debate or commentary, just testimonial of what folks are using. Thanks in advance.

I've always used Lexol leather cleaner and Lexol leather conditioner on any car with leather upholstery. (My Bolt is an LT, so I have fabric seats in it.) I also use Vinylex by Lexol on vinyl surfaces. These products have always worked well for me, but I've never done side-by-side comparisons with other brands. YMMV.

I have seat covers that are waterproof for the front, cheap Costco ones but they work on many car types . Back is usually always put flat but does have upholstery fabric covered over it (hap-hazardly I must admit till I actually decide on which fabric to keep)
