I'm looking to purchase a Chevy Bolt and was wondering if the bluetooth system in the car supports Multi-point connectivity? Basically I wanted to check if I could connect 2 phones at the same time to the bluetooth system in the car.
You can connect multiple bluetooth devices to the car, but I've found with my Bolt only one phone device can be active. I haven't tried to pair other devices than a phone. Just a heads up, if you plan to use Android Auto, you can only use USB connection right now. We use Android Auto all the time which makes the bluetooth connection pretty pointless at this time.
I think that having 2 devices paired at the same time should be a standard feature in modern cars. Here is what I imagine as a use case for it - imagine you and your wife high using the car actively and both traveling together. Having both your phone paired just makes the ride safer because your aren't fidgeting to answer calls or play music.
