Body color upper grille standard?

So I got my Bolt used, and it's the Summit White It took me a while to realize, but I don't think I've seen any other Bolts with body colored upper grills. Anyone know if this was an option? If not I'm thinking it was painted to match.

I am pretty sure that is the case. I have not seen any with painted upper grill. I think it looks good.
