Bolt power corrupts; Tesla Dual Motor power corrupts absolutely deliciously

A family member has a Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor and I've driven it many times, but always loaded with family. Today, very lightly loaded and under the time clock, I had to drive it down a canyon, up the freeway and up another canyon to the 8520' base of Alta and back home again.

Going uphill, many of the ICE were loaded heavily and gasping for breath at the altitude. There were only a couple of passing lanes, but the Dual Motor was by the laggards zip-pop. Coming down the mountain, same story; a bus was quite a distance ahead coming up to a merge point. Just a tap of the Tesla toe and he was a dot in the rear view mirror.

I still maintain the Bolt is the better vehicle for everyday urban errand running and I'm not sure I should be allowed to own a Dual Motor anyway. If one has the slightest potential for addictive behavior, that much temptation at hand daily is contraindicated.

I tried to break my addiction with the Bolt. I failed and now feed my addiction on a regular basis. I'm trying to resist the temptation of the performance boost.
