Bought a generic 32A EVSE as a backup and to bring along on road trips, set target charge by 5% as an initial test. Looks good. :)

eBay listing shows 3 yr warranty. No warranty card in the box. User manual has mfg phone number and says do not call mfg for after purchase concerns. Hm...

Hm... so the user manual states that I may see between 30-40 Amps on the display and that the actual Amp will be determined by the vehicle and the wiring... so this means if I get an EV capable of 40A, I would get 40A charging?

Part # PCD041-32A above suggests it is a 32A EVSE.You would never get more than 32A. The 30-40 reference may be generic manuals covering multiple units? Maybe they have a 40A unit as well as this one?

The chart is for the whole house, not just the EVSE. :)
