I had the dealership file my application and provided them a check made out to the DMV for $22. So far I haven’t seen that check cashed. Does anyone know how long it takes, to get your plates and decals? It’s only been two weeks, but I thought they would’ve cashed the check by now for the HOV stickers

Thanks for your reply, I thought the HOV stickers when filed in conjunction with the new vehicle registration would go a lot quicker. Glad to see that you finally got your stickers even though it took a few months.

I mailed in my check and application 5 weeks ago. Check still isn't cashed and no word from DMV.

I believe they have to issue your plate first.
My plates were issued two weeks after purchase, about one week after they receive the HOV application. The dealer head used the VIN and temporary plate as identifying numbers. I’m still waiting and no check cashed yet. But based on the previous post last week it looks like I’m a week or so away for the DMV to start processing
