If I'm parked and try to turn on the camera view through the application icon, it won't allow it. The cameras are unavailable while the car is parked. Why would Chevy do this? When I pull into a parking space, It's really handy to look at the camera view to see how well centered I am within the lines. I'm not one of those rude people who parks off-center in a parking space, and I don't want to be either. I've resorted to putting the car into reverse when I park to turn the cameras on, to check my centering. Anybody know the reason why Chevy wouldn't want people to use the cameras while parked?

Put the car in Neutral, touch the camera icon and see the “overhead” view and a choice of front or rear view. You can switch back and forth without shifting.
