An odd event occurred this evening. On a return from an errand, the cameras stayed on throughout my drive, whereas normally the cameras stop operating at 5 MPH. The speedometer was showing the correct speed, of over 30 MPH. It was certainly distracting to see the birds-eye and front-facing cameras as I travelled down the boulevard.

I have seen this in my Bolt. Others may provide in depth analysis. I put it on a missing detail in a line of code. (just like every other processor based device) In the future we will be autonomous-ly crossing the country when our vehicle goes into reverse in the opposite lane and OnStar say "just reboot it" The camera deal is like this.
We have the honor of beta testing. Just enjoy or blame silicon valley.

what infotainment software version are you running? there was an update that was supposed to fix this, but as with all the updates so far, it's probably only about 90% effective.
I went to check the software level, and oddly it said I needed to connect to a network first. I pay for unlimited data every month, and now I wonder whether that has been happening or not. Once I reconnected to the internal wi-fi network, the level is showing 14.5.0.
