Good day fellow Bolt owners!
So this is my Bolt''s display after being charged for more that enough time to put it at 100% (Hilltop Reserve is off):

As you can see, last segments are not lit and max drive range is inadequate for a fully charged car.
For comparison here's a display of another Bolt I drive, not even fully charged here (nevermind the arrows and stuff):

395km vs 538km. Similar driving conditions, similar vehicle age. The Bolt in question has the latest update (14.5.0) installed and was tested by a technician who failed to find any issues (including the battery issues).
Ladies and gentlemen, I really need your experience and insight in dealing with this problem. I might be missing something.

All bars ARE lit. See how the MIN indication is in a grey background? So is the MAX indiction. These areas are not part of the SOC scale. These areas will never light up.

Also notice the three little yellow horizontal lines: they are 25, 50 and 75%. Pretty sure you ARE at 100% here.

You may be able to compare driving conditions, but how about driving style? Although 335 is on the low side, 456 is quite high.

Also, the 456 might be caused by a short down hill drive after a topup?

You seem to be confusing your level of charge with the range your vehicle estimates you will achieve with that charge. Your battery is full. The range estimation depends on your recent driving conditions; temperature, climate control usage, driving up hills, etc., and can change as you drive.

335 km (208 miles) would not be an unusual estimate for a full battery on certain conditions. A range of 456km (283 miles) would be exceptionally high so you may have unreasonable expectations here.

I stopped trying to tell if I'm full from that meter. I just look at the center dash info screen. It shows miles/kW since last full charge there. Or there is always the blinky green light. Kind of annoying that its not easier, but I guess a gas car's orange needle is the same, its not easy to tell if you're really topped off. In that case it doesn't seem to bother anybody.

From my experience, 456/538 km is typical for late spring early summer efficiency.
It is what I expect in combined city/highway driving with minimal AC, highway speed less than 65 mph.
(For we provincial Americans, that converts to 283/334 miles)

Unless you're the only person who ever drives both Bolts, and you drive them exactly the same way under exactly the same traffic and weather conditions, the comparison is meaningless. The car adapts to the driving style it's been subjected to and takes that as one of the factors it uses to predict range. There's a reason they call the range display "Guess-o-meter" - because it's just a guess, and because it varies according to many factors.

Also, only the lefthand side of the display is green, what about the righthand side of the display!! Your righthand battery isn't charged at all; perhaps it is missing!! ;)

More seriously, you're not reading it correctly; it's full. Look at the percentage shown in the myChevrolet app or on the website.

What kind of mileage are you getting on the trips you drive? The max range is based your driving patterns.
