Just got a quote for ceramic tinting of 5 windows on my 2022 Bolt EUV - $560!

I've never tinted car windows before. That seems really high! Anyone care to share how much they paid for ceramic tinting?

Just did mine w/ Llumar Ceramic tint, it was $500 for all windows plus Llumar clear Air80 for the windshield.

That is super high. I went with Tint-Factory Clear Bra (thats the company name) who carries lifetime warrantied ceramic tint, and for all the windows except the front at 20% it was like $300. Very pleased, although I honestly feel like I should have gone darker on the rear and/or the back passenger windows.

That price doesn't seem unreasonable for the most premium ceramic tints (Xpel XR Plus, Llumar Stratos). If they are using a lower grade of ceramic tint or a no-name "ceramic" then that is pretty high.

That may be high depending on the tint. I paid 450 for Pinnacle series ceremic from Llumar. The stratos which is the next level up from what I got and top of the line was going for an additional 200. Biggest difference in ceramic from dyed tint is it actually reduces the heat signature in the cabin. Visually I know you can get away with dyed tint but here in sunny northern Cali ceramic is a must unless you don’t care about tint turning purple and fading.

I paid $750 for exactly the same but it also included removing the existing tint. The ceramic made a significant difference in heat rejection and the Air80, although not as effective is also noticeable, especially when driving into the sun - which is how it feels on some days here in NC.

I love them. I got ceramic Llumar 30% tint on the windows and rear hatch. The heat rejection is incredible. I even purposely chose not to get the recommended darker 20% tint because I think they're too dark at night. I opted for the optional shaved edges which makes it look factory with very little white edge when the windows are open. The installation was around $450 including taxes.
