Charging to full capacity in summer vs winter

This seems like a silly question but recently (where I live anyway) the nights are getting colder and I believe I have noticed something that really doesn't make sense to me. But, since I'm a novice and not a battery engineer, I thought I would put this (potentially silly) question out there.

All things being equal as possible, if one's 2018 Bolt is NOT set to "Hilltop Reserve" and you charge it up all night long (Using 220V/30Amp) and let it keep charging until the light on the vehicle is solid, would you expect any kind of appreciable difference in the range when you step into the car to drive it whether this charging was done in the summer (nightime temp not less than 65F) or whether this charging was done in the winter time (nightime temp in the 30's or below)?

When I hop in the car after this charging I haven't driven it anywhere. It just seems "logical" to me that there wouldn't be any difference. Now in the winter time, there obviously is quite a difference when I start driving it!

Supplemental question maybe: Once the light on the dashboard is no longer blinking and is solid, does that mean that NO MORE CHARGING is happening regardless how long I keep it plugged in?

Yes, this is to be expected. Please read the thread in the New Member section about the range estimate and your battery:

By popular request, we point such questions to that thread, and close new threads about the "Guess-O-Meter" range estimate. The goal is to make sure that people searching the web or searching this forum find that thread, instead of wading through many other threads that ask similar questions. After reading that thread, if you have a specific question not addressed there, feel free to post a new question.
