I think the daytime running lights are LED. People assume if the car is electric that it must have LEDs throughout.

yes, you are correct however the press release says LED headlamps and taillights

Hmmm, for some reason I thought the Premier had those. Maybe I'm confusing it with my old Leaf, where the top trim line had LED lights.

It definitely says they do on their website. I was a little suspicious seeing them come on when I first drove mine at night. Just didn’t look like LED, it had the tell tale arc striking look other HID vehicles I’ve had before had.
