Let's face it.
If one needs a dependable car, but is like - I cannot spend more than 35k, but wants BEV - it gets Bolt.
Most folks who go after Tesla (brand new) - can afford a luxury car and many times they get it because it is Tesla and it sounds cool.

If I say - I bought Bolt - people are like - oh, OK.
If I say - I bought Tesla - people are like - Tesla? Wow, how you like it? Show me it...

so yeah... but I give no crap what they say. I bought a car that suits my needs. And, actually, Tesla did not.

It is click bait, but on page 3 it says “2021 Chevy Bolt Best EV” with a score of 8.0/10. On page 4 it says “2021 Tesla Model Y Best Luxury EV“ with a score of 7.6/10. Am I missing something?

I think they are simply getting at the Bolt beat the Tesla Model 3 for the category.

What is it about “Best EV” that leads you to think they are only comparing it to the Model 3? (Not that I give much credence to these rankings anyway.)

I believe under our system we vote for best anything with our wallets.

Model 3 sales ~500K so far
Bolt sales ~90K so far
