So I have been trying to figure out the best hardest launch off the line I can generate. I have had a couple of times where it hit like a hammer with no wheel spin in sport mode. Lately I am doing it with traction off. But not sure how to reproduce the hammer! I have my Riken raptor summer tires on the car and they hook up well with little or no wheel spin.

I am not sure whether its something like getting the car to roll and lettting of for a fraction of a second then punching it or maybe its not punching it all the way i dont know.

Anyone any ideas?

Just thrown' this out there:
Do this at YOUR OWN RISK! This is just a theory. If the following BRICKS YOUR BOLT, or if YOU or/and YOUR BOLT, and/or any one else or any thing else is harmed, if you proceed with the theoretical actions below, you HEREBY AGREE AND UNDERSTAND the possibility of DANGER involved, YOU FULLY ACCEPT THE INHERENT RISK is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, YOU ALONE ASSUME ALL RISK!.
(with that out of the way...)

- Have you tried putting the Bolt into 'soft park' (using the regen paddle to defeat the creep), so the Bolt is in D and stationary but your foot is not on the brake. Sport Mode on + Traction control on at launch.

Floor the pedal at a 1/3 rate of depression. Do this by visualizing the pedal having 4 equal points of separation in its travel from non-depressed to fully depressed. Using a quick mental count of 1,2,3,4; 1 is when you first depress, 2 is about 1/3 travel, 3 is 2/3 travel, and 4 is the floor. You may notice the Bolt Bolt systematically delays as it electronically releases the 'soft park'. This step requires practice to **just** eliminate the tire-spin (squeal) at launch.

Now the tricky part. At the 3 second mark of your run, - *this is during your run* - you will need to disengage 'Sport Mode'. This maneuver theoretically lengthens the power band, and the allowable battery draw to the traction motor.

19x9" wide front wheels with a 33mm offset using z-rated high performance tires will also be beneficial. The rear tire set should be 19x6. (since this will only be performed on a closed drag strip track there is no need for the track tires to turn much.)

Let us know how this turns out for you. If you are successful in establishing a 0-60 world record for a sub $40K EV, your name will be forever enshrined in the YouTube 15-minute walk of fame. If you brick your Bolt and GM elects not to honor the warranty due to the clause under the section: Misuse of the vehicle, you may not fare so well with respect to Internet Glory.

Good Luck! >:)

I think I've also had a launch-like experience when after freeway driving (tires are warm) I'm back on city streets and sometimes when I time the lights right, I can coast to a near stop while in L and right as the RED light changes to green, I am about to come to a stop, and my body is about to stop lurching forward and return back to pressing into my seat, I floor the accelerator and get pushed into my seat.

This was done recently on warm spring weather (65F to 75F) with dry, repaved (few months ago) roads, OEM tires, and 38 psi all tires. I was the only load in the Bolt.
