This guy had his average kWh drop from 62 cents to 31 cents! Anyone in cold regions able to confirm?

Basically the old cold charging rate was greatly diminished when the battery was cold, the heater cut out at 16c (60f).
With the new firmware, it starts charging at 30Kw/h and rises faster. The heater cuts out at 24c (75f).

These notes are from memory and the values are proximate.

I’ve drove (200K, 120m) to spend the day at friends in cold weather -12c (10f). On the return trip the charging session started with the battery at -2c (28f) and a charge rate of 17Kw/h. The rate increased over 40 minutes to around 30Kw/h when the battery heating cut out at 16c (60f). The charging continued heating the battery to about 20c (68f) and the rate got up to 38Kw/h.

After I had the update, I went to a 150A DC fast charger early one 4c (25f) morning. It started charging at around 30Kw/h. After 15 minutes I headed home for breakfast.

Shortly after I went for a 500Km (325m) trip. At my first stop the battery temp was 12c (53f) and the charge rate was 38Kw/h. The heater cut out at 24c (75f) and the charge rate hit 46Kw/h. At 50% charge, it dropped down to 40Kw/h until I disconnected at 60%.
