I purchased and installed WeatherTech Floor Mats for this upcoming winter season here in Pennsylvania. I was saddened by the fact that the dead pedal area is not well covered.

Naturally, I shortened one of my current dead pedal offerings to fit the exposed area. I now have a 4.25" by 6" dead pedal available on my wife's Etsy Store

This is one of the reasons I went with TuxMat instead. Covers the pedal completely with no gaps.

Yeah, the TuxMats are fanatastic, I highly recommend them.

Bummer. I just bought the WeatherTec. Oh well. They are pretty good too. Good idea about extending the cover for the left side foot rest (dead pedal).
