I had the very same question about the rims… I THINK those are actually inserts that are available from Chevy to buy… but you’d have to have the android black with silver inserts… these would be new inserts for that rim. I THINK

I just received the chevy kit ordered through the chevy app. I was having trouble getting things to line up right (it included the Thule 3168 feet) so I called Thule tech support and they told me that the kit was for an EV, not an EUV. I'm waiting now to hear back from the dealership who's trying to sort it out. Very frustrating.

Following this thread with interest. Ideally would love Thule Aeroblade Edge crossbars with a Thule Canyon cargo basket. Thule doesn't seem to be able to give an answer if these crossbars will be available for the EUV at any point. I don't want the Wingbar or anything that has side extension. I don't like the way they look sticking out. Tried Rack Attack but they don't have a solution either.

Anyone having any luck? There's clearly Thule Aeroblade crossbars on the older Bolt models.
I agree. Hoping for the same thing, but still nothing from Thule. Need a rack in the next few weeks so looks like Yakima is only option.

A related question: my local Thule dealer was going to attach cross rails to my 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV (which which I am in love 😀), but he was having such a difficult time trying to remove the rubber widgets in the side rail that he wasn't sure they came out. It looks like they must, but nobody at my dealer, or at GM, could answer the question -- is it OK to pull at full strength until they pop out? Any experience reports would be appreciated!
Fold the flat rubber cover like a taco shell; then pinch the two sides of it together with a pair of pliers and unscrew the plug.

Look up Thule Aeroblade Edge Flush S (small) , Thule podium fit kit 3168.
You can visit Rack Attack , they fitted an EUV with a Yakima system. Too tall in my opinion.
New Chevy Bolt EUV owner (first EV!). I placed an order for the Thule podium fit kit 3168 through Rack Attack and my order was cancelled due to not being compatible with my 2023 Bolt EUV. Does anyone know if this is correct? I was hoping to run the Aeroblade/podium setup. Thanks for the help!

Correct, the feet needs to be slightly different. I got this one, works great.

Those that have 2022 Bolts EUV, any suggestions for crossbars that work? First time I have a vehicle with side rails, and I want to take advantage of it by installing bike rack. I know the 2022 Bolt EVs no longer have roof rails, so are the older generation (Bolt 2021 and below), the same size as 2022 Bolt EUV roof rails?
Greetings! What rack set did you get? Not the crossbars but the actual system? I am on Thule and Yakima and they both state that done of their systems are compatible with a 2023 Bolt EUV. Thanks!

Ended up getting the kit in the RackAttack photo: pair of jetstreams, streamline, and landing pad 19. The Thule podium kit is sold out everywhere I've looked.
I know this is an old post but I'm wondering if you got the locks? And more importantly, if the landing pad 19 is locked onto the flush rails. On the pictures I've seen, it looks like the screws that attach the landing pad to the flush rail remain exposed. Couldn't someone just unscrew the pads from the roof and make off with the cross bars?

They're security screws, so harder to remove as you need a special allen key.

Having said that, I tried Landing Pad 19 on the EUV and it doesn't fit quite right. The landing pad bracket has a slight angle to it which leans the pad inwards towards the centre of the vehicle. It really should be a straight 90 degree from the tower.

My brother bought a 3D printer and has been itching to use it. He stumbled upon the below site and found these crossbar pads. He printed one of the stands and said it was practically indestructible, so I gave him the go ahead to print them all. I have a hardware store close by where I think i can source the hardware much cheaper not buying such quantity. I think i can be all in for under $80 including the crossbars, hardware and printed material. I don't have a Bolt yet but I do have a Thule basket i do use on occasion, so i do actually have an application for this. I plan on putting a hitch on for carrying bikes. Once the car shows up I'll post up how it works out.

EDIT: Found these Trax bars on ebay, they look to me like they are the clamp-on style cross bar which I don't think will work with the Bolt EUV. The fixed rails along the vehicle look very similar to the Bolt's but there may very well be a lip there for them to clamp onto. I'll still leave the post below so that if someone else comes across this they can look for themselves and possibly come to the same conclusion...

Similarly, the Chevrolet Trax cross bars may also work? It's also a Gamma 2 platform car, which the Bolt EV/EUV BEV 2 is a spin-off of.

They are a bit tall and I'm not crazy about the the exposed locks, but might be another somewhat OEM option.

The plugs in the roof rails are not truly threaded. The are just plastic push pins with ribs. Pinching the top and unthreading them does work. They just push back in. After fumbling around for 15 minutes i got them out.
I would be concerned about putting them back. I can see them breaking and getting stuck inside.

I know this has been up for a while, but did you ever get the answer? Apparently the plugs are threaded in; unfortunately no one bothered to tell the majority of us nor were they clever enough to put a receiving indent for a screwdriver (either a slotted or phillips). Hope it all worked out for you.
