Hopefully I won't get to beat-up if this has been discussed before, but I searched and couldn't find anything. I've had Cruise Control on all my vehicles going back to a '75 Cougar XR7, with different makes over the years. In all that time I've never had a problem getting used to what ever...

Thanks, so it has been covered before.
Both sides:

• I have soft supple thumbs. I have no problem finding it.
• Poor design. Have to look for it. I have working man's thumbs!

The worse OEM switch ever in a car? Maybe.
The newer model has one more like the BMW i3.

I make the entire highway portion (30 miles) of my commute with the cruise control buttons and never have to move my feet to touch the gas or the brake. My thumb tends to ride on the down button the whole way so adding a piece of sticky felt to the buttons will let me relax my hand position, knowing I can easily reacquire the switch. And also tend to eliminate the only cold spot that I am in contact with.
