Oops! Sorry! It’s actually just a second light for the back seat.

the USB in the rear seems to go off when the car is not running. I have been unplugging the front one because even after 10 minutes it appeared to continue to run.

The cigarette lighter socket does cut off with the car. You could plug a USB adapter in there. Some even have their own LED built in.

Thats what I did in my new 2023 Chevy Bolt EV. l already had the 2 USB port adapter and it has a blue light. It is perfect for having soft light in the compartment at night. Also, you have the bonus of 2 extra USB ports in a car that is seriously lacking power ports.

That’s a great idea! I’ll do that in the warmer months! My son currently has a car electric blanket plugged into it for now lol!

I put one of these lights in the front USB and it turns off after a few minutes if you close the door and leave the car. 2023 EV.

Good to know! I wonder if it is specific to 2023 or true for 2022 also.
