Hi, I own a Bolt 2018 LT and a Spark 2016 2LT.

I have a problem with the Spark, I am putting this thread here in the issues and troubleshooting section but please move if needed.

It is a Spark EV 2016 with DCFC, car works great, no issues.

Before I brought the car to Costa Rica, the car charged fine with DCFC in USA. In Costa Rica, none of the Spark EVs that are here are able to DCFC.

When plugged, the orange beacon lights for like 20 seconds and then goes dark.

The chargers over here are TELLUS, MAGNUMCAP and CIRCUTOR brands. We have no ABB or name brands.

Please find attached below a charge log, some of you may know how to troubleshoot this already and could help me.

I am in contact with the technicians that installed the chargers and they have no idea of what to do. I am an electronic engineer and have experience with PLCs and automation but until now zero experience with EVSE.

I assume you have tried lifting up on the plug handle during the electronic handshake?

While I've not looked at a log like this before, I do find it interesting that it has "goto GBT27930_ERROR_PROC"; GB/T 27930 is a standard protocol for vehicle/charger interfacing, but it is primarily used in China..

EVgo worked fine just like @ARob said.

Had issues with chargepoint/FPL evolution. They said there was a issue so moved to next charger.
1?) how do you know when to move to next station?

2) even at the next station when I swipe the electrify America pass card took over the charge point App. So charge point rejected the card. ?????? Anyone seen this before? Quite strange

3) Did not hook up from infotainment screen. Got as far as it saying waiting on car. Had to resort to calling support

4) how many times can you call support to start a session before you get kicked off this site?

5) evgo worked fine right from the info screen no prob.

You mean the chargers next to the new condos? Not always gated.
I have had better success and quick connects there
