I put these door dent and ding protective straps on a few weeks ago, they come in all the Bolt colors (except Shock). The color matches pretty well too.

Did you have any dents or dings prior to installation that this would have prevented? I'm asking, because our first ding is actually along the crease that the door handles are along. That seems to stick out more than lower on the doors. I'm not sure this side molding would have prevented the ding we got unless it was along the crease, which wouldn't look good.

No dings, a glaring look that I believe stopped a lady's door mid-swing while I waited in the car prompted me to get them, I can't always wait in the car!
I put them a little lower than the instructions indicate.

I was going on memory and just went out to look at the car. Actually the parts of the doors where you put the moldings probably sticks out at least as far as that upper crease.

Hopefully they work for you. They look good! I may consider them too. So far I've just been careful where to park, and banking on the fact that the Bolt is narrow. The ding we got may just be a paint scuff, so I may be able to rub it out come spring.

Good work on that glaring look too!

That was not supposed to be the item. I agree the color matched is nicer but costs a lot more. Generic online web sites and they claim 3M tape.

They park next to me to drive me craZy. It is a short drive.

I had my car 3 years, I never got a door ding I think its the way the door is made it prevented dings

Someone has already posted about the door ding on their Bolt, so...
