Door dent protection

I put these door dent and ding protective straps on a few weeks ago, they come in all the Bolt colors (except Shock). The color matches pretty well too.

That seems to stick out more than lower on the doors. I'm not sure this side molding would have prevented the ding we got unless it was along the crease, which wouldn't look good.

No dings, a glaring look that I believe stopped a lady's door mid-swing while I waited in the car prompted me to get them, I can't always wait in the car!
I put them a little lower than the instructions indicate.
