I made a few posts and and I realized I forgot to introduce myself.

I am gear head. I have had various very high performance cars through the last 30 years and I still do have several. Few months ago installed a 15kwh pv array on my roof and decided to try an electric car. Was on the list for a Porsche Taycan- deposit and all.. until they revealed the car on Sept 4th with starting msrp of close to 160k. Said fcuk it and went and bought a new Bolt.Wife drove it and said- go buy another one- I am taking over this one. Fair enough- went and bought another new one. All within a week. Now I have two of those fleas and I love them for commuting and driving around town.

so... hello everybody :)

ps Teslas have never been my thing- Elon may be a visionary, but I can’t help realizing he is somewhat of a d1ck- so refuse to give him my money.

We have a '19 Volt Premiere and a '19 Bolt Premiere as well. We love them both, but they have two very different characters. The Volt has a surprisingly superior cabin dashboard experience, with much better infotainment and cluster displays and user-friendliness, but no "God's eye" view of the car when parking. Also the power seat is most welcome, as are the more-comfortable front seats. While the cargo space of the Volt is better than the Bold, the cabin space of the Bolt beats the Volt, and it's possible to easily get in and out of the Bolt without dragging one's feet across the driver-side kick panel and scuffing it. A new generation Bolt with the best features of the Volt (and not necessarily the Voltec power system) would be welcome to us

I just don't have the money for that Porsche, but I am confident my next EV won't be a Chevy, probably a Tesla or a VW. My Bolt has been treating me quite well in the 11 months I've had it. Not disappointed at all.
