I just realized today that the DIC UI is very user friendly IMO. I like how when you navigate through the left menu choices like Information and Audio, the background of the left menu changes to contrasting colors. I always know that green is vehicle Information and blue is Audio source. It becomes muscle memory for me to switch my audio sources via memorized button sequences with peripheral feedback. The sliding menus and the large highlight box of selected items makes it easy to navigate without needing to really focus on the DIC.

I've noticed in review videos for other EVs that they have overly pretty UIs on the dash with small elements that change and for me require refocusing on the little elements to figure out what I just selected.

Chevy Bolt's DIC UI designer deserves a bonus.

Agreed. This is something that I would expect Chevy to get wrong (sorry, Chevy), but they really hit a homerun here in my opinion.
