So I don't use wireless charging. I hate to leave the space empty. Are there any restrictions on what I can put in the wireless charging space? TIA

On my 2018, if I place metal objects in the wireless charger slot, I get a few icons that intermittently pop up on the top of the infotainment screen. Soft objects like a sunglass case, no problem. I have never used the slot to charge a phone!
