Agreed. Next time I plan to run the test at higher speeds and incorporate blind turns. So far it works really well.That is definitely one of the most important safety features ever invented.
A friend of mine has a 2017, we plan to test his soon. I do not know if this applies to the FCA camera, but the 2020 does have higher resolution cameras. In a previous post/video we tested the 2017/2020 during the day. With each test the 2020 did stop with a little more room to spare. ( in SOME cases two to three feet ) However, there are some variables to consider: His brakes have three years on them, mine are brand new and the tire tread. If you’re in Colorado you’re welcome to use mine.I have no reason to believe the technology as implemented is different in the 2019 model year, but I would like to see the same test with that model year. I need to find me a cutout large enough to do a test. My driveway is long enough to pull off the test which helps.
