It's happened enough that I don't think it's a "one off" anymore: when I connect my phone via Bluetooth, and try to play music through the Bluetooth option in the "Source" list of the Audio app, the choice defaults to my Stingray music app. Because my Stingray app is set to work only over wifi, to save using data needlessly, it doesn't go anywhere, and I have to find a safe place to pull over and close the Stingray app, after which the entertainment system (usually) moves to the Google Music app on my phone.

Has anyone else experienced this, and more importantly, has anyone figured out a fix?

Thanks.

Perhaps it has to do with default apps presented by the Android OS. Maybe the Stingray app is the default for some specific bluetooth streaming function.

Otherwise, it's the Bolt's Infotainment unit that's "picking" the Stingray app for some reason. Maybe it's the first streamable app? If you have other streaming apps that work over bluetooth already installed, perhaps just uninstall Stingray first then see which app is picked when you connect your phone to your Bolt. Then reinstall Stingray and see if it's selected again when you connect to your Bolt. If Stingray is selected, something about the sorting of streaming apps makes Stingray present first. If Stingray isn't presented first, perhaps you can uninstall all the streaming apps aside from Google Music, connect it to your Bolt to set Google Music as a default, then reinstall all your streaming apps.
