We could always just wrap the car in a metallic orange vinyl. 3M has some fantastic colors.Agreed. I really wanted the concept orange. To rub it in, it looks like our friends in Europe are going to get the orange you and I want on the Ampera E!
I'm still going to get the orange though. The red is fantastic, but is just too trendy right now and the kinetic blue is also real good, but I guess I'm just not a blue kinda guy, so orange it is even if it isn't the one I really want.

Wondering what colors will be available?
I've only seen the silver color and too bright concept orange color for the Bolt. Even the grey CES Vegas ones.
But i like blue, so did a bit of photoshop work to make a blue one with a bit darker tint to the windows.

Think your Bolt in Cajun Red is Unique & Special?
Think again.
At the local auto show I was looking at the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox in red. I asked the attendant “what’s that color called?” Answer: “Cajun Red Tintcoat”. Me: “WHAT !!”
I then googled Chevrolet Cajun Red Tintcoat. Oh, no... (see picture)
I’m going to go after Canada Chevrolet for: 1.) a discount and, 2.) official renaming of the Cdn Bolt’s red paint color to: Cehjun Red Tintcoat. I’ll also be petitioning the courts to allow: immediate release on bond & maximum penalty of suspended sentence in cases of attempted murder where: the accused is the owner of a Bolt in Cehjun Red and was approached by anyone who states in a normal octave or above: “nice Sonic”..

Hold on a minute.... you mean YOU got a Bolt in Cajun Red Tintcoat as well!? Does that mean if we ever meet each other on the 401, we might cosmically implode for being in the same place at the same time? I'm petitioning Chevy for an app that will show me your location at all times to prevent such a disaster. And lord help the first person that says "Nice Sonic" to me.....Think again.

On the Opel website I looked into the Konfigurator. Couldn’t find what the paint color choices are for the Ampera-e.
There’s a bright yellow colour shown in Ampera pictures from Europe. Don’t know if that’s a production color. Bright yellow is nice and would have a more lasting appeal versus Mary Kay Cadillac Pink or Camaro Krypton Green.
Found this video for Ampera on the Opel website. No Chevy-like munchkins allowed… much more specific product positioning. Actors look like me and my wife (haha).
Now I know why I bought a Bolt.>
