Someone else mentioned this in another thread, but I confirmed it. After having a pair of software updates relating to recalls, my Hilltop Reserve was turned off. It was kind of strange because I got home and plugged the car in overnight on an L2 so that it would have a full charge for the range calculations to adjust, and it came up giving me close to 300 miles of range.. I normally see 250s. Then I noticed that I really did have a full charge and that L mode was not working properly.

Just FYI.. you may have to re-enable certain functions after the recall update occurs, Hilltop being one of them.

I mentioned it and unfortunately didn't figure it out until I had recharged twice. Should have known better as my first recharge after the battery update was 372 miles��

I just checked, and MyChevrolet reports that my vehicle is full, with 385 miles of range. Woohoo!

Except that I haven't done the firmware update. Oops!

I re-loaded the web page, and it now says 241 miles.

My gawd the website and apps are terrible!

I gave up on the app a few weeks into ownership.

Awful.

I put our Bolt on the L2 when we got back from the dealer 65 miles away, where we got the traction battery software update, and didn't realize our Hilltop Mode would be reset. So today, I headed for town with the initial maximum miles available showing at 290. "Town" is 500' lower then our hilltop, so going down the hill, the first thing I noticed was no regen braking. after leveling off, I watched the guess-o-meter climb to 303 miles!

Hilltop now reset, as well as "home only".
