Hi All, I just picked up my new 2020 Bolt yesterday and took it over to a dcfc evgo machine. Why do I only get a speed of 32 kw and no higher? Should I be getting at least high 40s? It is the first dcfc on my bolt.

Oh, the Bolt can take up to 150 amps. So at 343 volts, that would be 51kW if you found a charger with a higher amp output. At about 55% SOC the battery would be at 367 volts and at 150 amps you would reach your max of 55kW.

Yep. If you post a Plugshare link to the EVgo charger you used (esp. if has a pic of the label), that'd help. Or, just post a pic of the label so we can confirm its max amperage. Would be nice to attach it to the Plugshare entry, if not already there.

Also, even if the DC FC is more than powerful enough, if the battery's cold, the charging rate will be slow, even at low (below 50%) SoC.
