Insideves has posted it estimates for sales in February.

Bolt is up, TM3 is down.

I did an update on Bolt dealer inventory using cars.com
3/2/19 3,981 autos, same as at the end of January
2/22/19 4,057
2/4/19 3,981
1/4/19 3,291

It will be interesting to see if there is an end of quarter sales jump for the Bolt to get the full $7,500 tax credit.

Might explain the sudden appearance of the $35k Model 3.

A drop after falling off the cliff in January. The market for an unreliable $44k vehicle is clearly saturated. I don't imagine the market for an unreliable $35k vehicle will hold up too long either.
Unreliable? Bold statement. Yes there are issues with fit and finish, but Tesla's are far from unreliable. The reason for low sales is saturation of premium models. However, Tesla has been shipping all their cars to China and Europe. Tesla sales have been staying constant, just not in the US. The $35,000 Model 3 will do quite well for the rest of the year. I am trading my Bolt in for one next year once I satisfy my rebate condition.

The Model 3's U.S. deliveries slacked starting January 1 because Tesla was shipping most of their production overseas.

The Bolt EV numbers aren't great, but I'm willing to bet this goes back to where GM is choosing to distribute them. People in non-ZEV states what to buy EVs, too. Hopefully, see a big jump in Bolt EV and Volt Sales for March, so people can get in under the Federal Tax Credit step down.

Fit and finish, along with electronics behavior, will become more and more important as Tesla enlists larger and larger cohort of middle-class buyers.

Let's stick with the US sales, because we don't really know what European or Chinese sales figures are.

Up until recently I also thought that the Tesla had simply saturated the demand for the >$45K TM3's, but it occurred to me that they may also have dredged dry the already shrinking pool of low-slung sedan buyers. In this case, we will see the US sales of TM3 (along with TMS) stagnate and even slide back.

I posted this over on another thread but you of all people need to see it as you are totally clueless as you've proven time and time again.

The actual data contradicts your assertion. Consumer reports data gives the model 3 a score of 2 out of 5 for reliability. The bolt gets a 5 out of 5, and it's not like Tesla has shown it can rectify these problems as the model X has consistently been the third worst vehicle in the US for reliability for the last 3 years.

Yes, and I didn’t understand your graph on either thread.

Pretty colors.
Best not to engage with scientologists, trumpites or teslasheeple. It is impossible to convince people they're brainwashed when they're brainwashed.

You will be sorry!!/forum/images/ChevyBolt/smilies/tango_face_sad.png
Why will I be sorry? I have serious neck pain with the Bolt because if the seats. I know many people with a Model 3. Some fit and finish issues, but nothing that doesn't allow them to reliably drive their car.

What's wrong with your neck? You should probably have a doctor check that out rather than blame a seat that doesn't even make contact with your neck.

I fractured two vertebrae in my upper neck last year from carrying my 10 year old on my back. It was a nightmare. The seats in the Bolt are just uncomfortable and I am always sore at the end of the week. For someone my size and build they are really bad. I even tried the new Bolt and it was just as uncomfortable. I think I have short legs for a 6'1" guy and a large torso. It is a shame because I love everything else about the car.

BTW it gave me a sore neck before my injury. Also my Model S won't give me a sore neck if I drive it that week. So there is only reason my upper back/neck us sore. Those horrible seats.

Umm. Those seem like disconnected issues.

Also, the seating positions of the Bolt EV and Model S are drastically different, so it might not be the seats at all but rather the upright seating position that aggravates your condition (though it sounds like you'd find the seats uncomfortable either way).

Whichever way, it sounds like the Bolt seat is not good for his back.

At the same time someone with a back/neck problems and long torso might also worry about getting into the TM3, as it is a very low car - I want to say 5-6" lower than the Bolt? - but then again, this is a free country, people can worry, or not worry about whatever they want :)
