Although winters are mild in Maryland, what charging suggestions do you guys make

I know us minimum HVAC and maximum seat heaters etc to maximize range. Should I plug in every night? (I do 40-85 miles per day) to condition batteryfrom the grid?
Any suggestions appreciated

Assuming you park in your garage, Chevy recommends you plugin when the ambient temperature for the vehicle is expected to fall below freezing. I monitored my garage temp and find it typically runs about 10 degrees above outdoor temp minimum, so I plugin when nighttime lows are forecast to be in the low 20s or below. Otherwise I plugin 3 to 4 times a week in the winter and 2 to 3 times a week in the Summer, depending on my driving patterns with the reduced winter range.

My attached garage (with two heat vents present but levered closed) never gets below 50 degrees and usually not below 60 degrees. I therefore never plug-in at home just for conditioning. At work, however, in an open garage at ambient temp. for 3-5 hours (I teach part time at the University) it is a different story. I am trying to get the U. to place a row of outdoor 120VAC outlets on a higher floor of the garage (less ICEing) for us EV owners/drivers who wish to keep the battery "warm" while at work.

I'm in Butte, Montana at the Continental Divide (5500 feet) I've seen temps as low as ~ -30 and generally plug in only when I need to charge or it is going to be well below zero. I'm lucky in that I'm not thermally challenged and almost always get by with heated steering wheel and seat. It's winter in Montana, I've got a coat and a hat on... ; )

I plug in every night, because I like to start each day with a Bolt that's all charged up and ready to go. I also charge my cellphone every night, too.

Preconditioning before setting out will make for a cozy car with a (more) warmed-up battery. Personally, I don't try to make my life hėll inside the cabin just to save a few cents of electricity, but if you want to go full-on eco-warrior, feel free to shiver.
