Look what I found today on Route 1 in Belair Md. It is next to the auto auction. I think it's a resting lot for units that were repurchased and are awaiting new batteries. What do you think, Judging from some of the colors they are defintley not new and it looks like stop sale or property of GM signs on the winsheilds.

Hey, I wonder if one of those Shock Bolts is mine I had bought back! :D
I think I see mine there too but I can't tell for sure.

PM @Jim Fallston Md. your VIN, and have him climb over the fence to check it out. ;)

Talk about a fire hazard! Those things are not 50ft apart. I would run not walk as far away from that lot as possible.

Give GM a little credit, I would veture to say most of them or all may not be in the worst date run with the most fires.
A few of them are wrapped for that one company (the yellow wrap with the green logo around), but for sure looks like a buyback lot based on the company placing them there as well with a full wrap on (normally they would tear them off but I guess not to preserve the paint while they wait for awhile).

Also is interesting that there are a few 2022 Bolt EVs in there as well (last picture, front row, second vehicle).

My repurchased '17 was blue. Take your pick...it could have been mine.

Belair Md. I think they could find closer storage to you.

I'm pretty sure the one you are talking about is an EUV.
At least they are color coordinated.....
Think of what will happen to the pricing as all of those gets a battery and hits the market.

It doesn't even look like enough for one dealer's lot.

All EUVs, even base models, have roof rails. The EV has none, which in this case that vehicle has none either - which makes it a 2022 Bolt EV

My apologies you are right.

Nothing, GM has already exported thousands of used cars overseas

My guess is this will be similar to what happened with the 2011/2012 Leafs that Nissan just dumped overseas (back in the day)
When they found the batteries were meh on lease return

Do you have any links to info on cars that are dumped into other countries?

UPDATE: I drove by the lot again today and the gate was open so I drove thru. They have all been rearranged by color and there is a whole lot more of them. A completly different area of the lot they have just black and gray all years. 3 of these pics are the lot they colorized. Has to be near 450 at this site.

Looks like they have 1 First Edition EUV now, must be a local buyback lot since it makes no sense to hold that many in the same area at once.
