Eight 120 kW chargers, on site attendants and even a dog park. Looks like it's not going to be free, but still...

Is it connected with or close to the dealership?
I talked to my local dealer and the sales manager said all Chevy dealers were required to something like that (maybe not as elaborate as Friendly) if they wanted to sell EVs.
That is what I'm talking about! Roofs.

But will the chargers be behind locked gates after hours?

I've been saying since I got my Bolt that GM should have required it's dealers to install DCFC chargers ad make them available to the public (at least for GM EV drivers).

Depends on if it's conveniently close to anything that an ICE driver might want to visit. Though in Texas you probably have more a-holes who will park their lifted trucks there just to be jerks.

Well, GM didn't put DCFC in every Bolt, BUT, once they start selling Silverados, they're going to want a place to charge. L2 won't cut it.
So far I haven't seen any lifted trucks blocking EVSE's. I did see a Walmart EV van hogging a charger. Lucky it let me disconnect it.

I was across the freeway from this dealer a few months ago on a temp assignment. Drove up there in Bolt but hotel didn't have charger. Wandered around that area. Think I even called the dealer to ask about a charger. The location is downtown, easy on and off major freeways going every direction. I had to wander the area for a charger. Found evse in a weird part of city nearby. Most in that area are EVgo's were in use and one connection at a time.
Doubt this site will suite working EV trucks even if they are jacked up.

i don't think Texas has a monopoly on a-holes. Your post proves my point.

Look at the picture. It's a dedicated area with charging spots, and supposedly it's attended.
The event is today. Maybe someone stopped by.
Hopefully there'll be food available for purchase, and toilets, too.

The dealer where I bought my Bolt has a fancy solar carport with eight or ten L2 chargers in it. Looks cool from the street. I tried to use it once. There were two Bolts in there but the rest of the spots were ICE’d.

Too bad we don't have label pics but I'm guessing they are 60kW-360kW DC Fast EV Charging Stations : Blink Charging, more specfically https://blinkcharging.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/UL_DCFAST_120kW_SpecSheet_March_2022.pdf. I wonder if Blink makes them or if they're a rebadge or someone makes the units for them.

I drive near Friendly regularly, Andrew - I'll check it out as time permits!

You'd think it would be on some charge network to find.
